This dog bed was surprisingly well made, and a good value for the price. As soon as I unpacked it my dog sprawled out on it and made herself comfortable. Our cat soon joined her on it and I thought everything was fine. That night however, I heard the dog constantly digging at the pad with her front paws, trying to shape it into a sort of nest, as she did with her old sleeping pillow. Since this bed is a foam pad and a gel pad, one on top of the other, it's not going to take any shape except flat and rectangular. I tried putting a loose blanket on top of it, so she could shape that the way she wanted, but she still usually returned to her old bed. In conclusion, I would recommend this product but with the suggestion that you think about how your dog sleeps and if it will be content sleeping on a firm but comfortable flat pad. -- Quality product - defective dog
The reviews I've read surprise me. The bed is as advertised
They are 29 inches wide, and 39 inches long. I have the Midwest Life Stages Double-Door Folding Metal Dog Crate which is 28 inches wide and 42 inches long. The bed fits nicely.
If there was an issue with advertising, it has been rectified.
It would be fantastic if there were more than one size to choose from but at this time, there isn't. That's a marketing error.
Bed is Fantastic. I will have to put something over the bed however if I put a bone or something that could "mess" up the cover. I will make something to cover the bed that will tie to the crate walls to keep it clean when heavy chewing of something messy is expected.

My dog is loving this napper. She is 13 and has arthritis and she has taken to this napper really well. My only complaint is that because it has the gel fill, it is a little tough for my dog to step onto and off of since it definitely has a few inches in height. When I purchased this, I wasn't sure it would be big enough (my dog is Tibetan Mastiff Mix, about 55 lbs), but it is just right for her. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase because she seems to be so comfy when sleeping and relaxing. -- My dog loves it

I bought this bed right before getting our dog from the pound, so it was not here for him when he got here. We laid out a blanket on the carpet and he seemed to love it compared to the hard concrete he was laying on. Then this bed shows up. The minute he laid on it, nothing else seemed to matter. We decided to put his bed upstairs next to our bed and keep the blanket downstairs. He will walk all the way upstairs just to lay on his bed! Towards the end of the night when he gets tired, he will walk upstairs, but since he still wants to be with the family, every 30 minutes he will walk back down to check on us, then go right back up and repeats this until we decide to go to bed. We had no other choice but to buy another bed so he could have the best of both worlds! -- Dog will sleep on nothing else!
